“My one and only wish is seeing you happy in time and eternity,” said Don Bosco, and we got it! The festivity of Saint John Bosco was just fantastic. After months of lockdown, zoom classes, with the uncertainty of a better future, we had joy, communion and sense of family back at Saint Mary’s last Sunday, thanks to Don Bosco. Before the feast day, we had problems to find a proper person to celebrate the children Mass. Fr. Jesse Montes was our angel, sending Rafael, the magician, to give a touch of joy in that morning celebration. Believing or not, the magician preached with some words, after answering some questions and performed a show for us with quality. During communion, I was so happy that he received Jesus, showing his love as a Christian Catholic and an old Salesian boy. Your presence, the way of respecting the city's guidelines, helping us make that celebration, and any time that we celebrate Eucharist, much better. We are been blessed with your generosity and the love for people in our area. Our dream at Saint Mary’s is to see everyone happy, especially our young parishioners. Last Tuesday, we celebrated the Lord's Presentation –candle Mass-, many families came with their baby Jesus and candles to receive a blessing and extend it to their families. Yes, our dream is to see you with the eyes of God at any time. Thank you for joining us as we prepare our parish for the Lenten season next is Ash Wednesday. Our joy is to live in the grace of God and share the experience with our young generation.
