Every age has its own problems and difficulties. Nothing is asked of us that is beyond our strength. We count on the help of Jesus himself: I will give you words and wisdom... The times that we have to live today are not times for pessimism, complaints, resignation or inhibition. Today we have to be the protagonists of our faith through testimony, aware that the Lord is with us and does not abandon us. And we have to live the faith in the midst of current problems, avoiding spiritualisms and longings that in no way coincide with the path that the Lord has marked out for us. The Gospel message ends consolingly: Not a single hair on your head will be lost. With your patience, you will obtain life (v. 19). Faith does not preserve us from suffering, nor from death, but it does give Life.
