Debemos recordar que los tiempos fuertes en la Iglesia para la conversión y la reconciliación son los tiempos de Adviento y Cuaresma, por tanto, durante estas semanas estaremos escuchando lo continua invitación a la conversión y al arrepentimiento. Hoy la liturgia nos recuerda la predicación de Juan el bautista quien nos dice que como bautizados estamos llamados a la penitencia para el perdón de los pecados es así como este tiempo se nos brinda como una oportunidad propicia para acercaros al sacramento de la reconciliación, para confesar nuestros pecados y recuperar la gracia de Dios que nos santifica. Sería interesante poder realizar algunas prácticas de penitencia para este tiempo como por ejemplo acercarnos un poco más a aquellas personas e incluso familiares de los que nos hemos alejado por alguna razón. We must remember that the powerful times in the Church for conversion and reconciliation are the seasons of Advent and Lent. Therefore, during these weeks we will be listening to the continuous invitation of conversion and repentance. Today the liturgy reminds us of the preaching of John the Baptist who tells us that as baptized we are called for the forgiveness of sins. This time is offered to us as a propitious opportunity to approach the sacrament of reconciliation, to confess our sins and to recover the grace of God that sanctifies us. It would be interesting to be able to carry out some penance practices during this time, for example getting a little closer to those people and even relatives from whom we have moved away for some reason.
